Eligibility

1. Academic Requirements

Completion of 10+2 / PUC (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Biotechnology) and English as compulsory subjects.

Minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB+English for General category; 40% for SC/ST, and 45% for PwD candidates.

2. Age Requirement

Must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.

Upper age limit typically 25 years (relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates)

3. Entrance Exam (NEET‑UG)

NEET‑UG qualification is mandatory for admission to all government or private BHMS colleges in Kerala.

Candidates must meet the qualifying percentile:

General category: ≥ 50th percentile

SC/ST/OBC: ≥ 40th percentile

PwD–General: ≥ 45th percentile, PwD–SC/ST/OBC: ≥ 40th percentile

4. Domicile and Seat Quota

For government‑college seats, state domicile (Kerala residency) is required for state quota counseling (85% seats).

15% of govt seats fall under All‑India Quota (counseled by AACCC). Private/management/NRI seats are also filled via NEET‐based counseling.
