HOSTEL RULES AND REGULATION
The resident student shall strictly obeythe Hostel rules currently in force and or as may be enforced from time to time. Accommodation in the hostel cannot be claimed as a matter of right.The college administration may refuse Accommodation to any student who is known to have violated the Hostel Rules or whose presence is likely to disturb the peace and tranquillity of hostel. The students must remember that, the hostel is the home of the students on the campus & they should behave themselves on the campus as well as outside in such manner so that dignity of the institution is maintained.

  • The Principal is the chief warden of the hostel. There are Asst. Wardens for both Mens & Ladies’ Hostel.
  • The hostel shall be under the control of the chief warden.
  • The principal will be ipso facto the chief warden of all the hostels.
  • The warden's decision shall be final in the interpretation of rules and in all matters connected with the hostel. He shall in consultation with the college committee of management have the power to modify, suspend, cancel or add to any of these rules as exigencies occur.
Admission and Allotment
  • Students requiring accommodation should apply in the prescribed form with a registration fee of Rs 5/- (five) .If admitted, admission to the hostel is subject to renewal every calender year, with registration fee of Rs. 50/- (fifty).
  • Applications not in proper form and unaccompanied by registration fee will be rejected.
  • The chief warden will have the right to refuse admission to any applicant without assigning reasons.
  • Only Limited seats are only available in the hostel. Those who are residing within the limit of 50kms of the college are not eligible for hostel admission. On obtaining the list of admitted students, the warden shall accommodate the students in to the hostel.
  • The registration fee will be forfeited if the student does not occupy the room within a week of its allotment.
  • Caution deposit- Each resident on admission should pay Rs. 1000/- as caution deposit. The residents have to pay the mess advance fixed from time to time by the mess committee &5% of the mess advance will be returned if the resident vacates the hostel within 6 months and 75% of the mess advance will be returned if the resident vacates the hostel after 6 months.
  • Allotment of the hostel rooms will be made on the basis of the hostel admission form submitted by the students. Rooms will be allotted at the discretion of the Chief warden / warden.
  • Applications will be registered in the order in which they received and rooms shall be allotted in that order.
  • Students are not allowed to remove any articles or furniture, fittings, lightetc. Belonging to the hostel.
  • Any damage to the hostel property shall beimmediately reported to the Asst. Warden. The cost of damage will be recoveredfrom the concerned individual. If the person could not be identified, themembers of the room/wing /floor concerned will be held responsible.
  • The students shall not remove any fittings or furniture from any otherroom and get them fitted in her/his room.
  • Rooms will be reallotted every yearby the Warden/Asst. warden subject to availability.NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO STAY IN THE SAME ROOM FOR THROUGH OUT THE COURSE.
  • Students are not allowed to change rooms without written permission of the warden.
  • Students must occupy /sleep in the rooms allotted to them only.
  • The rooms allotted to the students at the time of admission are for a limited period of up to one year or less.Residents are required to shift to other blocks/ rooms as and when informed by hostel authorities. This shifting may be necessitated due to administrative reasons and students are required to obey the instructions.
